Well today I had God speak to me another way, but He still got to me through my favourite source – technology.
I was sitting at the kitchen table in front of my computer, in the middle of doing some things, when I stopped to pray. The house was quiet (1 child at kinder, 1 asleep), and I just sat there with my hands under my chin and talked to God. I asked Him to let me know the answer to a question I’d been mulling over. I sat for a few minutes, and then was sure I heard the answer. I responded to God, telling Him that I was pretty sure that was what He was saying, but I would wait for definite confirmation (these days he often sends me eagles to confirm an answer, but with terrible weather I knew that unlikely at the moment).
So, I finished speaking to God, and went and had a look at my Facebook (social networking on the internet). Right there, right up the top, was an update from a friend all the way over in India (it was Sid from Imrah Ministries) that I was unable to miss.
“...the Lord was in the sound of gentle stillness,a still small voice (1 Kings 19:9-13)”
I couldn’t believe it!! That’s all he had written there, and that was exactly how it happened for me! God spoke to me in the stillness, just a gentle word into my ear/thoughts, with a still, small voice. I had my confirmation!!!
I have had confirmation of questions before, and each time it thrills me. GOD IS LISTENING TO ME!! AND REPLYING!!! This one also made me laugh – He knew where to find me – Facebook. Ha ha!

Hi Epiphany,
What a great post! God uses butterflies to confirm things to me because he knows how much I love them. I have the same thing happen to me with Him speaking to me. Some people who don't have this happen tend to them look at me like I'm crazy when I tell them. I just "know" in my spirit that it is Him. I can hear your excitement in the e-mail. Thanks for sharing. :)
BLessings and Hugs,

Thanks Tammy! I hope this excitement I feel never fades.
Encouraging thank you :)
Indeed, God always knows where to find us! The harder part is for us to recognize that we have been found and have a message!
Isn't God incredible? No matter what or who, He knows. Thanks for sharing that. It blessed me greatly:)
God bless!
Came over from Mike's.
He never lets us down and knows just what we need at any given moment. Great to read your testimony.
